The cultural and creative industries in Saxony include approximately 10,000 companies in 12 subsectors that create or disseminate creative and innovative products and services. The cultural and creative industries are the key sector for economic and social innovations and shape change in the region.

We are the first organization in Germany that was founded by the creative entrepreneurs themselves to strengthen the sector. The work of the Landesverband der Kultur- und Kreativwirtschaft Sachsen e. V. ist supported by its members Kreatives Chemnitz, Wir gestalten Dresden, Kreatives Leipzig and Kreatives Erzgebirge.

We are happy to support you in founding an industry association for the cultural and creative industries in Saxony. Our project KREATIVES SACHSEN provides individual advice free of charge.

Associations or clubs

City or regional associations can help shape the conditions for Saxony’s cultural and creative industries and become members of the Landesverband der Kultur- und Kreativwirtschaft Sachsen e.V.. Full membership costs EUR 1,200 per year.

Creative and cultural professionals in Saxony can become members of associations in their city or region.

The Landesverband der Kultur- und Kreativwirtschaft Sachsen e.V. represents the interests of Saxon cultural and creative professionals. This includes self-employed individuals and companies in the 12 sub-sectors:

The culture and creative industries include the architecture market, the book market, the performing arts, the design industry, the film industry, the art market, arts and crafts, the music industry, the press market, the broadcasting industry, the software/games market and the advertising market.

Cultural and creative industries include those cultural and creative enterprises that are predominantly profit-oriented and are engaged in the creation, production, distribution and/or media dissemination of cultural/creative goods and services.
