Newsflash #8: Project “InduCCI” – Time to say goodbye

The last month of the “InduCCI” project has begun. Already before the turn of the year, a large part of our work package on „Influencing regional strategic frames for fostering CCI in industrial regions“ was completed. Below you will find an overview of the last project steps:

Transnational and regional strategy papers

While some project partners already presented their regional NPP strategy papers to important decision-makers in their respective regions in the previous year, others still had this task ahead of them in 2022. In this context, our transnational CCI strategy paper „Wisdom of Place“ was presented by Christof Schreckenberg (Creative Tide, Cologne) at a virtual meeting on 7 March 2022. After a short presentation of the 14 recommendations for the promotion of cultural and creative industries in industrial regions at European level, the invited guests, important decision-makers from the region, had the opportunity to ask questions and talk to us. We are pleased that the contents of the strategy paper have found resonance and are officially taken into account in the respective regional institutions. The regional CCI strategy papers as well as the transnational CCI strategy paper will be available on the „InduCCI“ website as an „output document“.

e-Toolbox

To make the results of more than two years of “InduCCI” visible, we have developed a toolbox over the past six months. The final version is now available to interested users. It summarises approaches to bringing Cultural and Creative Industries together with industry and society in industrial regions. We have prepared project results in a practical way. The e-toolbox contains best practice profiles from the “InduCCI” regions, as well as tips on how to create a competence training for administrative staff on the topic of Cultural and Creative Industries, and includes formats from the creative industries. Feel free to click through the e-Toolbox!

Final conference in Belgium

On 24 March, the hybrid final conference of the „InduCCI“ project „More than colour into grey“ will take place. Under the name „The Role of Cultural and Creative Economy in Transforming Industrial Regions“ there will be video presentations, exciting panel discussions and keynotes with the InduCCI project partners, as well as Tami Warshavski, Bernd Fesel, Fabrizio Panozzo, Jana Bělohoubková, Michal Hladky and other international guests.

The central learnings of the InduCCI project will also be made available to a broad audience virtually. For the programme & registration go here.

MArte Live Contest Festival

We would like to draw your attention to a call for applications within the framework of the EU programme Creative Europe. Emerging artists under the age of 35 can apply to the MArteLive Europe programme for online and livestream auditions until 31 March 2022. The competition festival gives emerging European artists the opportunity to showcase their talent, win prizes and network with other artists and top professionals. Participants will be judged by a qualified jury and the audience. We would be delighted if you would share this call for entries with your network. You can find more information here and here

We would like to say goodbye to you and thank you for following us and the „InduCCI“ project
